Outpost Locations and Leaders
Zeeland, MI
Our primary and first Outpost, this location began in late 2021 with seven members. We have grown to a community of around twenty believers who regularity attend! The attendance per meeting changes, but is typically between eight and fifteen people.
This Outpost is under the leadership of Mason Riemersma, Grant Peterson, Tim Lyon, and Dirk Rietveld. It is a vibrant community dedicated to growing relationships around the table. Meetings are at Dirk and Mason’s house every Sunday from 12:30 until 3:00. We would love to see you here!
Grand Rapids, MI
In January 2025, Benjamin Fulks (Benji) accepted the calling on his heart to establish an Outpost on site at Calvin University. Focused on reaching his peers, he has been leading this group towards spiritual maturity with his insight and wisdom. The smallest and newest of our Outposts, we are looking for two additional ministry leaders for this location, as well as core members to come alongside Benji in this ministry.
This Outpost meets on Sundays from 3:00 until 3:45, and is centered around a biblical message given by Benji. The conversations that stem from this group have been fruitful and foundational in those who attend. At Calvin University, or in the Grand Rapids area, and need a Christ centered community? We have a seat at the table for you!

Holland, MI
We are excited to announce our first Outpost plant in Holland, MI! Christian Kalb has accepted the calling to start an outpost on the campus of Hope College in Holland, MI. He has been crafting his leadership team since he accepted this calling in early 2025, and we are excited to share more details!
This outpost will be officially launching September 28, coinciding with The Outpost Church’s official hard launch! They will be joining us for this meeting at Community Reformed Church in Zeeland as we celebrate this move of God together!
Holland, MI
We are excited to announce a second Outpost plant in Holland, MI- yet the first one with a specific demographic! We typically focus our Outposts on being the full body of Christ, including members of all ages and both genders. Yet, in early 2025 Mason Riemersma felt the calling to start an Outpost specifically for men of all ages.
We are excited to see where God takes this Outpost, as Mason has spent much of this year preparing for this launch by leading the outpost in Zeeland and fashioning his leadership team. We are excited to announce more about this outpost!
